Mel is a Human Resources professional with experience leading consulting and in-house HR teams in various sectors including 7 years in the insurance industry. She has held senior leadership team roles in multinational organisations including Cigna, where she was involved in culture change programmes and global wellbeing initiatives. She currently enjoys applying this experience at Accuro – NZ’s Best Little Health Insurer.

Mel has Commerce and Psychology degrees, and a passion for continuous learning and creating awesome workplaces where people can thrive personally and professionally. She balances work with a busy family life and running ambitions.
